(AIM/TSX-V: MKA) (the “Firm” or “Mkango“) is happy to announce that it has launched the Monetary Statements and Administration’s Dialogue and Evaluation for the interval ending September 30, 2020. On 26 November 2020, on the request of the Company and its Audit Committee and in accordance with the Company’s Audit Committee Constitution which requires the Company to assessment its auditors each 10 years, MNP LLP (the “Former Auditor”) resigned as auditor of Mkango and the Board of Administrators of the Company appointed BDO LLP (the “Successor Auditor”) as its new auditor efficient 26 November 2020 till the shut of the Company’s subsequent annual assembly.
There have been no “reportable occasions” (as such time period is outlined in Nationwide Instrument 51-102 Steady Disclosure Obligations (“NI 51-102”)) between the Company and the Former Auditor.
Pursuant to NI 51-102, the Discover of Change of Auditor, along with the letter from the Former Auditor and the letter from the Successor Auditor, have been reviewed by the Company’s Audit Committee and Board of Administrators and has been filed on SEDAR accordingly.
