The Cumberland County Commissioners on Monday remembered Chief Clerk Sandy Moyle, who died on Christmas Day after an extended sickness. Throughout a public assembly, the commissioners ordered the county flag be flown at half-staff till Jan. 18 in reminiscence of Moyle as a testomony to her dedication and contribution to Cumberland County.
“With a heavy coronary heart we announce the passing of our chief clerk, Sandy Moyle, who served the county for practically seven years,” Commissioner Gary Eichelberger mentioned in a press launch. “Sandy was a exceptional lady whose dedication and dedication prolonged to all staff and the residents of Cumberland County.”
Stated Commissioner Jean Foschi: “As the latest county commissioner, Sandy welcomed me with open arms into the world of county authorities. She was held in excessive esteem by her employees, the board of commissioners and all who serve in county authorities.”

Moyle served as chief clerk since 2018 and deputy chief clerk since 2014. Moyle labored for a district Justice of the Peace in Lewistown for 15 years and as senior affiliate for Public Monetary Administration in Harrisburg for 17 years. As chief clerk, Moyle managed the county’s day-to-day operations throughout the tips set forth by the Pennsylvania County Code and the board of commissioners.
